#46 TOOL TALK AND CYBER MONDAY-1
===
Speaker: [00:00:00] Hey, what's up everybody? Gene Fatty back at you with another episode of the All Access Podcast. Now officially from Dent Repair. Now, uh, this is episode number 46 and I'm excited to be here. Uh, as you can see, we're in the new shop, not really the new shop. We are in the process of, uh, redoing the studio, and the studio is jam packed with, uh, toys and gifts from the, uh.
Dense for kids We had here, um, two weekends ago, amazing turnout, amazing donations. We're full. Keep an eye out. We're gonna have some video footage coming out of that soon. Uh, but we're in a little bit of transition mode, uh, and hopefully in the background. You can't hear Mac down in the shop who said, no, dad, I'm gonna be quiet.
Is down there clearly using an impact gun or an air chisel to [00:01:00] cut his truck apart. Actually, he's just organizing the bed. Uh, but this is far from quiet like he said he would be. Anyways, we're here. It's Sunday, tomorrow is Cyber Monday. Uh, and I wanted to make sure to get an episode out, especially this episode for you, uh, because we are going to dive into some of the specials, uh, that some of the great tool companies have going on.
And with that, uh, some of the tools that I picked up this year, uh, not here in person, uh, but as we're looking through the website, we will be talking about, you know, doing some mini reviews or, or something like that. As we're going through, before we jump into the tools and everything though, man. Last week was just an absolute home run in, uh, my journey.
Uh, I guess you would call it, uh, or, or the podcast world or whatever it was. I had so many people reach [00:02:00] out and talk about how much they enjoyed my Dent Slayer podcast. Uh, guys, thanks for listening and hanging in there. If you caught that whole story over four hours, uh, man, that means a lot that you would even sit and listen to me Babylon, about my my journey.
Uh, if you haven't checked it out, it's episode 17 over on Dent Slayer. Uh, you can get it anywhere you listen to the shows. And also great feedback on our episode last week with Jonathan Vanden, Fontine from Belgium. Um. So many people reach out about that too. Uh, maybe even the most traction we've had with an episode, uh, heading out online.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Really a million thank yous for, uh, bringing. Sharing, uh, talking about what you enjoyed. Uh, that was the first time that I got to hear Jonathan's story. We've talked together, we've shared the stage together. Uh, we've [00:03:00] talked, we've had plenty of meals together and, and bs. Uh, and I never got to hear his whole story.
Uh, it was really, really cool to get to go and listen. To and really interview him, I suppose, uh, and catch his whole story and how he started in a body shop and doing big stuff. And, uh, how we met Chris with Kiko. It, it really, really. An enlightening story. And also cool to hear Jonathan's side of the story because I've heard Chris's side of the story from Kiko.
Uh, and man, they line right up. But very cool, uh, to catch the two different perspectives of what that, uh, looked like. So, uh, back to our show. Back to this show, we are, uh. Gonna turn these phones off so they're not dinging and pinging. Um, we are switching softwares. Uh, our old streaming software, uh, was going to like.[00:04:00]
Double in price, quadruple in price, something obscene in price. And, and I'm like, man, I just don't stream enough to do that. Went back to this software that I sort of forgot about and found it in searching for a new software. Uh, this is some Mac software that we used that I used years ago. Going back to the PDR marketing minute days.
Um, really gonna try to bring you some more production value. We're gonna bring some multicam in, uh, not necessarily multicam today, but, uh, bringing some multicam in. Today, we're gonna do a little bit of surfing the web, um, it's gonna open up to more, I think of one, a higher production value, but two, some of the.
Ideas that we had when we first launched, you know, where we can go out and, and sort of react to some videos or if you've got some repairs you would like, uh, some critique on, right? Like send them in. We'll be able to play them live here [00:05:00] in the screen. Uh, and I can comment over them, talk about them, um, everything like, that'll be very, very cool.
Let's see if I can silence these. There we go. Silence these notifications. Uh, anyways, what do we got going on out there tool-wise? What, what can we talk about on this show? I know I saw Mike Toledo, uh, with Dent Time, did a Black Friday show, uh, which is I'm sure cool. And he's got crazy, crazy tools. Uh, I made a few purchases, uh, and I made some purchases when Figs was here, and it's sort of been a tool heavy year for me.
Um, so. Without further ado, let's see if I can reorganize all this stuff. Right. There we go. And switch. What the hell do we do here? Oh man. New software bugs, baby. All right, here we go. So [00:06:00] let's go. If we can go to our screen share. There it is. And up first is our old friends at Kiko. Uh, I think they were one of the first ones I saw.
Um, drop Black Friday, you know, live, uh, pretty good sales. It is 10% off all Kiko branded tools, 20% off tabs when you spent $300 or more and free shipping and all orders over 500 bucks that. Is a pretty strong deal, especially if you're gonna load up on tabs, um, or you know, you're looking at, uh, some of their tools for me this year.
Let's, uh, let's go ahead and pull what has been my go-to this year. So I've been heavy on the K power. Uh, this tool write $945, so what is it? 10% off of Kiko powered tools. So you can save a hundred bucks there. [00:07:00] This tool, this tool has been just an absolute go-to for me. Uh, I get a lot of people asking, you know, what, uh, what's the tension tool?
What are we doing? Where do we go? Where if you already have a beam. So you're already able to lift and you're looking for that tension. Move the K power, and I recommend the big one, uh, because you can do small with big, but you can't do big with small, right? So if you're gonna pick one K power go with the big one.
It's more versatile than the small. These new tab straps, if we can zoom in. These new tab straps are great. Uh, they've got the long ones and the short ones, right? These cut down ones, uh, they're not actually cut down. They've redone the mold are great for being able to get in a little bit closer, right?
You're working smaller damage. Um, you. Get the feet in, get, get the arm of the tool right. The foot in closer here. Get these [00:08:00] closer to your dent out and get everything out of the way. This K power for sure, has been a go-to tool for me all year. If you are already have one of those and you're looking to upgrade, man.
The K Power Junior, I added a second one of these to my arsenal this year. So I've got two juniors and a full size, um, using this. On body line dents, right? Something where it would normally be a dooring or something like that, uh, through a body line. Not even, you know, the hero shot where we're trying to stretch and get a, a move.
But, uh, we are looking at, um, using, we use this all the time on body line dents. Uh, get yourself an extra set of these tabs. Um. To get into there and let's see where we would go. Let me find you guys. The new blade straps [00:09:00] here. I am chomping at the bit to use these tabs. I picked these up right after advanced skills.
I ordered them up. So these new blade lateral tension tabs. I just saw Bryce use these on. Um Oh, that BMW, he just did. These are a super wide flexible, right, that machined area out in the middle, flexible. Uh, strap, tab strap, uh, to get it like into a jam, to pull, like a door jam to pull straight out, um, or right.
If you wanna do huge, uh, lateral tension. Uh, I just saw a video with Danny using 2K Powers. Pulling these, you know, overlapping a body line on a door going edge to edge and pull, what a [00:10:00] massive, massive footprint, uh, these things get right. So those are my, uh, Kiko Black Friday Cyber Monday tool picks that I would for sure tell you to check out.
Uh, hopefully you guys can't see my. Oh, where's my preview at? There we go. Anyways, hopefully I'm not screwing this up with this new software. Uh, but I guess we will find out. Ah, now let's head over to a one tool. Um,
we have our a a one tool. Um, they have Dent Reaper, Excalibur, dent Slayer, and of course all of the, uh. All of their own tools for sure. Right. Oh, and Jean, oh, speaking of Jean. Here, let me come back to, [00:11:00] let's go this one. There it is. Uh, speaking of Jean, uh, I got to see this bad boy. I got to see his prototype, uh, when we were at Advanced Skills.
Uh, he had talked about it when he was here, but I hadn't seen it. I kind of pictured what it was talking about. I picked one of these up. This is my A one tool purchase for Black Friday. Got John's signature on there. This is one ounce heavier, uh, than the stinger, right? So my stinger paddles three ounces.
Overall, this is four ounces. Well, I think maybe the head is four ounces. If you guys have followed me, listened to me teach and talk, I do generally like a lighter. Uh, paddle for just moving the metal down, uh, and not driving the metal around it down. Um, got to play with it just for a minute. Uh, at Advanced Skills.
Uh, excited to put this [00:12:00] to work. It literally shut up at my house yesterday. Uh, I took advantage of. A one Black Friday sale, uh, early release, and they got this out to me. Uh, Jean, uh, I think you listen to most episodes. If you're not calling this the, the zamer, I, I think you're missing the boat. I think we call it the jean hammer.
So we're gonna go for us Americans, the zamer, or, or if you wanna call it a tapper, the zapper. I don't know. I like xr. It's what I've been joking around all weekend. Excited to put this to use, guys. I'll have a full review on this after I get some time on it. Anyway, super light, uh, metalhead. Looks like it could be titanium.
With that finish, uh, we would have to go and see and it is threaded on both ends. Uh, if you want to use it as a, uh, if you wanna use it as a blending hammer. So anyways, back to [00:13:00] A one and their Black Friday. So I know. So it's 10% off on select brands. Um, 10% off the Jean tools. A one is a solid, solid, like been around forever.
They make amazing tools. Their customer support is awesome. John and Maria are great people. Go check out. Uh, a one. Um, so I grabbed the, the Zamer, uh, there. Um, but we've also got Dent Slayer and, um, dent Reaper are having sales and both available through the a one site or their sites, uh, you know, collectively.
Um, let's take a look and see what they've got. In fact, we'll do that now. Dent Vision. Oh, you know what? They didn't have it on their website, so I had to go here. So [00:14:00] Dent Reaper is 10% off on Dent reaper.com. No code needed. Go shop on Dent Reaper, get your 10% off and go to town. Uh, I just saw that John, uh, released a few videos about the Creos.
So here's Mike's video, and then here is, he actually shot it here with the 20 group, uh, right in the shop. A little rundown video of the credos tips. Um, and just, you know, a little bit of snazzy flow there. The credos tip is like, and I know I've talked about it on here before, but it has just become a go-to push tool for me.
Um, I've got all three. Straight. I guess they're not straight 'cause they have that kick on the end. But all three straight credos and the two door tool, K credo, there's something about the way he has that edge shaped and [00:15:00] polished. It just moves so incredibly clean. Uh, I can't believe it. Um, definitely my tool of the year from Dent Reaper is the, the credo set.
I've got the three Ds. I like them. I've got the UFOs. I've used them some. Credos has become a go-to. That one that he just held up. That smallest one has really gotten me into some great areas. I put the, uh, the gorilla straight grip from Anson on with it. Uh, man, killer, killer tools for sure. Lemme turn this phone onto focus.
Dear Lord. Sunday afternoon. You'd think I could get away from my phone. Uh, anyways. Um. All of his tabs. The glue, I mean, dent, reapers. Great stuff. John's a great dude. Um, get your hands on these and try 'em out. If you're not ready to pull the trigger, uh, I know they'll be in the booth [00:16:00] at MTE. Try to push some dents with that rads.
Man, that tip is just legit. Love it. So Dent Reaper. You know what we're gonna do is we're gonna close these windows as we do 'em. How about that, Kiko out of the way. One out of the way. Now let's talk dense slayer. How many times can that dude message me? Um, of course, discounts on tools, I believe is the way I read that.
But also, dense Slayer is doing 20% off all of their course, all of their online [email protected], code Black 20. Um. I didn't buy Matt's beginner class, uh, because I'm a little advanced beyond that. Uh, but I did go through and take his free, uh, intro. Um, good stuff, man. Go check that course out. If you are looking at getting into PDR, uh, and you, you're [00:17:00] looking for online, uh, training possibilities, uh, don't, don't sleep on dents layer.
Matt and James have a great, uh, system put together. Great site, put together great content. The most important thing I believe for a teacher and a student is connection. There's all kinds of, you can learn this, you can learn lines, you can learn fog, uh, you can learn online, you can learn for free on YouTube, I suppose.
Uh, you can go to a one week course, you can go to a, you know, a 12 week course.
All of that is, is, you know, dependent on you. What I think the most important, one of the most important things is you need to find an instructor that you connect with. You can understand and you like how they explain everything. That is gonna be a big, huge, huge change for you, a big deal to [00:18:00] help you learn.
So if you're getting into the business, if you are checking things out, if you're looking for more ways to learn, go to dense layer.com. He's still got a free version up. Check that out. If you're digging what he's got in a hurry, pull the trigger and get that course. Um. Of course on the Dense Slayer website, you can head down and listen to our episode number 17 on there.
All about me. Uh, anyways, dense slayer, good dudes. Uh, if they're not selling tools and already closed it, man. The, I talked about it last show two shows ago, right before Dent Slayer, the little stubby R four. Cherry cap tip that is like just threads and a head. Amazing. I did pick up two more. Like I said, I would, I picked up two more at while I was down at the studio, uh, and brought them home just so I don't run out.
Uh, and [00:19:00] also, man, the rat rods picked them up earlier this year, paid for themselves. So literally on the first car, um, what. Genius little tool. Uh, I know about the fixed handle. I didn't go Mighty Mouse or Hub Tools. Um, check that out. Oh, also, speaking of hubs, uh, Matt put out a video. I bet we can find it here.
Uh,
no. They need to update this anyways. Matt put out a video. Um. Showing the new mini hub that Anson is putting together. Anson's got a line of tools. We're gonna talk about it over at when we start talking about Anson. Um, but it was designed to help with the like upper brace tools or upper door tools that Dent Slayer has.
Go dig up Mats, video. Check that out. I've got his original handle with the [00:20:00] magnetic release. Um, excited. I ordered the new hub from Anson, uh, to use some of their small tools. Amazing on European cars with tight, you know, tight, tight door tops, um, and great drive. I can't wait to check out this new hub. So anyways, don't sleep on the slayer.
Go check 'em out. What do we got next? Our boy Matt Armijo with Get a Grip. Get a Grip now.com. Um, I just ordered some stuff from Matt on Friday, not because I was looking for a Black Friday deal, but because we had a massive windstorm come through, you know, 60 mile an hour winds, uh, and one of the, one of our.
Old umbrellas succumb to the incredible wind forces. So I needed one of those, but while I was at it, or when I called Matt, if I can get this to scroll here, uh, he has, lemme see if he's [00:21:00] got 'em up here yet. Battery powered. There it is. I ordered two new. Battery powered suction cups from my getter grip, right to retrofit.
Just gotta take this apart and put this on there. Um, super excited. I have, you know, automatic cups on my Stuckey light from Carl. Amazing. Uh, my new Eliminant 20 inch light, uh, auto cup. Amazing. I got James Lee's, uh, large suction cup for, um, leverage. Uh, and I've picked up an arm when bigs was here to make a a claw.
Uh, so I've got the claw with the automatic cup. Man. I just got so tired of, no matter how good a care you take, care of 'em or whatever, it always seems like those pump up suction cups have a lifespan. Uh, and whatever I do or whatever the environment is [00:22:00] here, it does not bode well for those things. Uh, anyways, so I've got two new battery powered cups coming from Matt.
Keep an eye out for review on those. Uh, and really man, this, it was earlier this year that I bought my first, um, get a grip. Love it. Absolutely love it. I was a mobile tech shade guy for years. I don't think Ian is making them any more. Um, and decided this year when I was back out on the road, Max's going back out on the road to start that it was time for some new umbrellas.
The old tech shades had had, you know, served well. Um, anyways, get a grip, umbrellas and the clamp just. Freaking awesome. Like go check it out. I've got, again, another big umbrella coming, uh, and no fault of mats, uh, for that failure on Friday. It [00:23:00] was like, I don't know what the gusts were, but it was more than, more than I would expect any umbrella, uh, to handle.
So go check out, get a grip, 15% off Black Friday sale. I'm sure that goes through Cyber Monday today. Hopefully when you're listening. All right. Our boy Nick over at Dent Vision just launched his website. I don't think it could be two months ago. Uh, maybe. Anyways, 20% off site-wide through Cyber Monday through today.
Uh, you guys know that I am a huge, huge fan of the Shock Blocker. Um, man. Love them. Uh, while we're looking at his site here. Uh, he came out with some banners. I've got banners all over the shop. Uh, you're gonna see those in more videos coming up. I did get, hopefully I was one of the first guys to order, uh, and get the new Dent [00:24:00] Vision banner.
The shop banner is on its way. Dent App is nice. Uh, I do use it all the time, but it is a good feeling tool. I've got two of 'em. Um. Check it out. Find the paddle that works best for you. Oh, this little two face cold glue tab adapter. So apparently there was some miscommunication and some people. I think VIP and dents layer went with the five sixteenths sort of standard thread for their cold glue and slide hammers and Glaxo and Sergio's and dead dent all went with the original like thread.
Well, this little adapter for 20 bucks allows you to turn your five 16th threaded tool. Threaded slide hammer into the glaxo size and vice versa. If you've got the [00:25:00] Glaxo size and you want to use some of your five sixteenths threaded cold glue tabs, right? You can go back and forth. Cool, smart little adapter.
Uh, nothing fancy, but it gets it done it. Oh man. These little barrel arm hood stand arm caps can never find like the right. Caps at Home Depot or wherever, uh, picked up a four pack of these orange ones to put on my old trusty, um, carbon tech stand. Uh, simple. Not, I mean, nothing to write hum about, but they stick, they're good, and they seem significantly more durable than the, um.
You know, your old cane tips or, or whatever you would like to call 'em, uh, anyways, ordered some more of those. One some for max stand. Uh, and for my dent stuff, arms, uh, that go on, [00:26:00] uh, shock blockers. Picked up my xl dig it. The X fours are amazing. Uh, I I, I've lost count guys. I'm well into the mid-teens of the number of shock blockers that I have.
I think I have a problem. Um, I think I have enough. Can you have enough? I don't know. The stainless knockdown, nice, heavy, uh. Works great for like, what if I'm gonna be more aggressive with a knockdown? I'm going stainless. Uh, the X fours are awesome and Nick gave me a couple of these caps, uh, when I was down at Advanced Skills.
Uh, I've got some of the original ones that the heads were getting beat up on and chewed up on just a little cap that pops on the back and keeps it neat. Um, the zero gravities digging, zero gravities. I just picked up the split shot wedge. I've not had a chance to use it. Um, but right. Just adding it to the mix [00:27:00] and I think that is it from Dent Vision, 20% off is a strong sale.
Nick, uh, thanks for sharing. Thanks for making some awesome tools for text. I will keep being a voice. For you for sure. Oh, I picked up the tab savers too and have not put 'em on the slide hammer yet, but like the theory there. So anyways, go check out Dent Vision Tools. Um, Nick's hooking it up pretty good.
Carbon tech, I'm not seeing his thing, but I'm pretty sure it said on Facebook. Uh, let's see if we can find it real fast. Ibel, I wanna say he said 20%, but don't hold me to that. Oh, is 20% off Storewide, uh, use code BF Black Friday, CM Cyber Monday 25 BF CM 25 for 20% off across the board at Carbon Tech. PDR tools.com.
Love all of my carbon tech stuff [00:28:00] and man, the, the, I love the good tool companies in our industry. The customer support is amazing. So we have, oh, I think it was, I can't remember if it was a, I think it was a two MB one, so it was Endeavor and Todd in Carbon Tech came together to make that company. And we have one of their, uh, tool carts, uh, the ones with the.
Foam holders on the side. I think it sort of got killed when the Packouts got big. But anyways, we've got this, its got similar wheels to the, um, carbon tech stand. Well, we had one break and I reached out to Todd and I'm like, Hey dude, do you have these parts? I wasn't looking for anything for Freeman. Like it's an older cart.
And uh, he's like, yep, what's your address? We can, we have that. We'll get it out to you. And he's like, I'll have, I can't remember her name. I'll [00:29:00] have my, you know, somebody reach out to you. So she reached out, I sent her my address and she's like, oh, I think it was Friday, like late in the day. Friday, another west coast.
Um, they literally overnighted me Friday, like after my business hours Monday morning. That part was in my shop ready to go, like just. I love good tech support like that, or good product support. It's amazing. Absolutely amazing. Uh, anyways, go check out Carbon Tech and then we've got Miss Bonnie with, there we go.
Full size. There we go. We've got Bonnie over at Finesse. Uh. Some crazy well bolt tools, 15% off site wide. Bonnie, if you happen to hear this, we really missed you at dents for kids. Uh, but you were out hunting and I think you've even [00:30:00] got a buck that day. If, if social media, uh, if my memory serves me right, um, anyways, guys, you cannot ever go wrong with a finesse tool.
The MT set, you know, the, the circus set of tools is awesome. Um, one of my go-tos this year, let's see if I can find it real quick. It is cherry, all these windows in my way that you can't see, not Chevy
cherry, cherry poppers. So these man, uh, I've got 'em in a tea handle. These cherry poppers. Are awesome. So they are, I believe, quarter inch diameter, uh, a quarter inch diameter tool. No, it's not showing up a t handle anyways, quarter inch [00:31:00] diameter tool, ground down and machined to take the cherry caps, um, but long in a short 10 inches and 16 inches.
These things just get you everywhere. I mean like, go get yourself some cherry poppers and if you don't have the the circus set the mt set. Go get the mt set. It is awesome. Um, and 15% off, man. That's pretty strong. Now let's go to my most expensive place of the week. Oh, hold on guys. You can't see it. I'm fighting some fighting some windows here.
There we go. All right, Anson, the crew ever at Anson, dropping new stuff for Black Friday. Let's start right here. The Black Friday cold glue bundle. So I picked [00:32:00] up the Diablo cold glue at PDR Expo and uh, brought it back. Started to play with it. Dove into it a little bit deeper in advanced skills. So much so that Dave was like, dude, you gotta bring me home.
That kit here. So the, the, the Ablo hail micro kit, I think was like 350 bucks or somewhere thereabouts, this Black Friday deal, because I've been thinking about getting some more preloaded glue shots, right. With this hammer, right? With the, the little, I don't even know what you call it, like the little slide hammer that I've been using all summer long and three, um, stainless steel cold tabs, right?
Like [00:33:00] for 199 bucks. Crazy good. I will tell you that I've got to the point now that I don't. Generally switch tabs. I've just got a bunch of slide hammers, um, set up and I changed slide hammers instead of just tabs. Uh, again, I may have a problem here, but good problems to have. Uh, this kit. If it is not sold out, go get it.
Like unreal. Uh, the Black Friday. A hail light case and combo. Get your new eliminate X factor with a gun case made for to protect it. I have the X factor light. Love it. Great fade. Don't travel with it very often. It is in in the shop light, but I do have a gun case. Or a road case for my stuckey light man, for what we pay for these lights.
It's so nice to be able to get a box that protects it and, and keeps you covered, right? That [00:34:00] 7 0 9 is a great deal. And the X factor mini and flip lights starting at 4 89. That is a smoking deal. So I have a bunch of these flip lights already if you're not using them. You need to start, uh, in fact, keep an eye out because I've got a guy, a follow on TikTok and new PDR Tech born, BRN two TO.
Slaw of SLAV, um, is his username. Anyways, new guy, great content. He's learning. Uh, I've sent him some pointers and everything. I told him already, he struggling to see the bottom of dents. I'm like, man, you gotta get an X factor mini light, a little flip. And I told him I'd make him a video to show him how to use it.
So keep an eye out that video is coming, but what I wanna talk about is the new X Factor mini. So when Bigs was here, he brought the first six, [00:35:00] uh, available in the country up to here. Uh, and then I think he put me in an arm bar and a headlock, and he was like, you gotta take one. So I pulled the trigger on a brand new, uh, Milwaukee powered X Factor mini.
It is super bright. I can't get over how bright this is. I thought my Stuckey 18 was pretty bright. This is even brighter. Um, in fact, using it, I was out on the route a little bit with Mac last week, helping him out, uh, and couldn't get the shade. Uh, and I didn't bring my umbrella with me. Um, threw this thing up.
No problem powering through the sunshine. Uh, with this. It has the Auto Cup, which is great. Again, I've got the auto cup on my Stuckey. Uh, 18 inch auto cups are definitely the way to go. Um, I had a flickering problem and, and back to an [00:36:00] incredible customer support, right? So I messaged James and sent him a video of the flicker.
I'm like, Hey, we're, you know, like, I get it. Things happen. I'm not, I I ain't mad at you, bro. Um. Where do I go to, to fix this? Like what's the, I'm sure it's a loose connection somewhere. And he immediately, I mean like within single minutes, uh, messaged me back and showed me where the connection was and apologized.
He's like, oh, hey, it's in, you know, it's something that we've been catching in QC and fixing. He's like, you're like, just snuck out. Uh, and showed me what to take apart. Uh, it literally was like a two minute fix. Um, back to super solid. I just so, so appreciate having great companies with great tools stand behind and support their tools.
Like it just means, it just means so freaking much to me. Uh, I love it. [00:37:00] Anyways, that X Factor mini is pretty cool. Keep an eye out for a full review coming, uh, as I use it more. Um, it is good stuff, right? Like there she is. Super bright. You can turn each light, each light off individually. Good stuff. And if you don't have a mini flip light yet, go get it.
If you don't have that, go get that now. Go get that Yesterday. Uh, picked up a couple of these black gold tips. Uh, when bigs was here, I picked up, let's see if we can get a picture. I picked up this middle guy here. Great push. Use that on a nice BMW tank we did last week. Uh, keep an eye out. We'll have a full repair video of that coming up soon.
And the shrinking tip picked both of those up. Haven't used the shrinker tip yet. Uh, but I really started to fall in love with these shrinking tips earlier this year. Figured I would give it a go. Ah, what else do we have for Black [00:38:00] Friday? What did I get? Let's see, shop tools. There's the new, we were talking about door tools.
You know, let's look for mini,
it's a mini slide. Hammers. Anyways, they've got the new, uh, maybe it's under new products though. That would be a good place to go. Gene, here it is right there. This is what I just ordered right here. The dolo blade tools with compact hub. So these are smaller diameter, right? Let's go here. Let's get you, uh, full description.
Two five 16th diameter tools 17 and 21 inches. Again, these are gonna be nice for the top of the door, uh, with the new hub design. So. [00:39:00] For you guys watching on YouTube, you should be able to see the deep, how deep the grooves are on top of this hub. And I believe this is all stainless steel. So, uh, you know, talking to Matt, uh, Boyette, when I was down at Dent Slayer, had some early ones and was testing them and, you know, as strong as he could or wanted to push.
Uh, these things were holding up with zero wear and tear. Um, so that's the new hub. And let's see if we can see the handle. Come on baby. Show me that handle.
So the new handle, there we go. We can kind of zoom in a little bit. Um, you'll notice that the gearing, the gears or spines cut into this are deeper. That's gonna give you a stronger bite, uh, and. Man, I'd call this like a good 25, 30% reduction in [00:40:00] diameter. It's a small handle for small tools to get into small areas.
Super excited to get this. I can't actually, can't wait for this to come in and you know, I think the handle retails for 1 99. This two piece tool set is 4 47, right? So for 3 99, I picked up both tools and the handle. Uh, and when the new dent layer, upper brace, upper door tools come out, I will certainly be pulling the trigger on that.
Uh, I wanna get my hands on these and play with them. The compact rattlesnake, uh, whale tail set. So when I was at. Cam Otto at the competition. Uh, it was a rattlesnake whale tail that I didn't even realize they made, right, like curved whale tail I had with a fixed handle, um, that allowed me to sneak in and work at the top of that door, uh, since it did not [00:41:00] travel up with all of my tools.
I'm excited to check out. Uh, these, these tools and play with it and see how I like the, how I like that handle, uh, up getting up into braces. I'm a diehard dent craft whale tail guy. Um, but we went up to check out and add these to the arsenal, um, swoop blade set with, uh, you know, the ratcheting handle Anson is, is on fire with, uh.
With some of these deals. So head on over. Check out our [email protected]. You do not wanna miss out on all of these. And like I said, if you don't have that mini flip light yet, what are you doing? Go get it. Uh, and one last company.
That has a Black Friday is Stuckey tools. Um, I think he is [00:42:00] 20% off. Maybe we better go to Facebook and see, uh, where do we go? Here. Let's go to Facebook and see if we can find Mr. Stuckey's.
Not stucker Stuckey tools. Let's see what his special is. 20% off all orders, 1999 and up. Um, man, I love Carl's stuff. I love Carl and Alma and Rico and Cesar, like the whole family is. Aw, I love, I I know I keep saying I love everybody. I do like this, this, this industry is so filled with amazing people. Um, I love it.
Like, and, and Carl's another guy that stands behind all of his products, uh, does whatever it takes to make it [00:43:00] right. Oh, there we go. Look at that. The best portable light available. Gene Ty for me now. And when I was still a Kiko trainer, um, I love my Stuckey fade. I love the build, I love the lightweight, um, the lightweight build.
His fog. I learned from, uh, my mentor was a Dent wizard guy. Um,
Carl's fog. His reflection on the light is just so, excuse me, is just so sharp and crisp that I just feel like it, it helps me finish, you know, the best way possible. Anyways, love, love Carl stuff. This is that new suction cup base. Um, so, so great tech tip. In fact, this is the one I have on my light tech tip for you.
If you buy this and you don't read the instructions [00:44:00] like me, uh, you turn it on. If you want to release it without letting it just run or shutting it all the way off that little orange button right there, double click it, click, click done. Um, super, super great and I really just love how lightweight, uh.
How lightweight his lights are and crisp. Um, like James, Christina, I love the X Factor mini. If I'm being quick and smooth, the, uh, and that Stuckey mini light is tough to beat. Um, good, good stuff. Uh, I've got his 12 inch. Light pad, right? Kind of iPad size. I've got the 18 inch and I've got the 36 inch hail light.
Really, really great stuff. Uh, I have not played with, let's see this. [00:45:00] It's like Carl's got a claw in a five inch power suction cup. Um, anyways, I'd have to check that out. I is doing some umbrella work with it. I wonder if it's a Stuckey umbrella. It's a Taylor made umbrella. There you go. Anyways, great, great stuff.
Uh, always from Carl. Go check out his stuff and 20% off is super strong. So let's see if we can bring you back to me now.
Here we go. We're not doing too bad for, uh, you know, for, for being. How do I. We're gonna bring this back to the computer.
Maybe, uh, bear with me. Kids Exit. Full screen. Where are we at here? [00:46:00] Ah, lost me.
Oh, the joys of technology. There it is. All right, now I'm back. I think. Um, anyways, so guys, tons of great Black Friday, uh, cyber Monday deals out there. Um, I hope that helps some of you. I hope this isn't all sold well, maybe for the tool companies. I hope it's sold out, but for your sake, I hope it is not sold out yet.
Uh, and you can go take advantage of that. What do we got coming up? Oh, besides maybe a nap or at least a cup of coffee. Uh, MTE is just a short number of weeks away, right? December starts today when you're listening. Tomorrow when I'm recording. Uh, so we're here two months to MTE. Uh, excited to do a glue pool for beginners glue pool 1 0 1 class on Wednesday for the, um.[00:47:00]
The, the newbie section of MTE. Um, on Thursday, I am taking my, or putting my Kiko shirt back on and doing a talk for those guys. Uh, all about unlocking repairability, uh, and what, you know, what a lot of modern, um, glue pool. Has come into and how these tools and systems can help you repair more vehicles. Uh, really, really excited to, again, put my Kiko shirt back on and, and get up and talk specifically about the Kiko stuff.
Uh, and then in the afternoon, myself and Matt Moore are co MCing, if that's a word, uh, the shop owner's round table, uh, mixing it up from the last two years, uh, and doing a little, we're bringing some new faces in. So we've got Doug Hillious, uh, out of Seattle, Washington, where it is always sunny. Doug, that's for you buddy.
Uh, we have Andy and Amanda [00:48:00] Patrick out of the Nashville market, uh, shop owners with multi-services, and we have Mr. Ryan Shutt, uh, joining us. And that dude, man, I can't keep up with his social media. He is on fire, uh, with growing his business. Uh, really excited to have all three of those shops represented with those four people.
Um. You don't wanna miss that. And of course, MTE is always, always a blast. Uh, talking to Jean Zan, the Zamer Viz Vi, uh, sorry, Jean. I think it's viz. I think it's, I always screwed the last name up, but I get the first name right. So the Jean, the Zamer, um, guys, were still kicking around that level up. Class in February here at my shop, not the shop, the one behind this window.
If you actually see it, uh, in February in person level up training, you know, it's, it's where you go next, [00:49:00] uh, when you're ready to, um. Grow, right? We've had relatively new students up to 20 plus, even 30 year techs come through the class and everybody leaves leveled up. Everybody leaves better dm me or Jean, uh, to talk about it.
Like, we're not gonna put it together if we can't make it work, but we would love to put it together if, if you guys are ready to come to town and, and get serious about it and make it happen. Um. The migration. If you are an a a I student, if you were an a a I student, uh, you should have access to all of your classes.
