# Some Random Thoughts
===
Speaker: [00:00:00] One
Man, I kind of dropped the ball on that transition, didn't I? I, uh, I've got my notes on my phone here, and I realized that the auto lock locked, and I couldn't, uh, get to my notes, and then in turn stopped paying attention to the intro going to hit the button to switch it, and you had a couple seconds of pause.
Anyways, welcome back to another episode of the All Access podcast from Dent Repair Now live again, finally back in the studio. You guys can see... Well, if you're not listening, [00:01:00] if you're watching on YouTube, you can see the studio is coming together. Uh, we've got the slide board up. Uh, we've got some things we're gonna change out.
John, when you watch this, the Porsche Cup is at home. It just didn't make the trip, but it is gonna go right over here on this shelf, and then this award will go back up over there. So I have it. It's coming here, so I can look at it every week. But it didn't make the show, so I don't want you getting all picky about it.
Uh, anyways, uh, this is the new background for the show. Uh, trying to make it a little bit more professional looking, a little bit more, uh, consistent, uh, and hopefully most of the episodes now will be recorded here if I'm not live on location like I was last week with Dan Neltner Uh, it was really good to head to, uh, to St.
Louis and, and pop over into Illinois. Get to hang out, play some golf, and catch up with Dan. Again, one of my [00:02:00] best friends in the world. Um, man, we had a great time. And then, uh, what did I do the next day? I got to go down to Gateway Dent Training, uh, in St. Louis, which oddly enough is not in St. Louis. It's 50 minutes southwest of St.
Louis. So a little bit of a drive. Um, but anyways, Mike Seewald was gracious enough to have me out and, uh Got to do a glue pull presentation for his round of students this time. Uh, a couple of new... a handful of new PDR technicians. Uh, I'm curious how they did. They were in their final week of the six-week training, and it was just about finals time.
Uh, in fact, that Friday, I guess, last Friday, would've been finals time for them, uh, and they were gonna have to pass the test. So guys, I wish you luck. Um, but I had a great time going down and, and talking to Mike and getting to see his operation. Um, [00:03:00] and we shot a whole episode, uh, just, just under an hour, uh, that's gonna be for the new beginners PDRcast.
PDR- PDRcast. Maybe these should be PDRcasts. The beginner PDR podcast. Man, I got all tongue tw- tongue twisted there for a second. So should have done my Sally sells sh- seashells down by the seashore before we got started. Anyways, a very cool interview. Very cool insight into, uh, Mike's philosophy. Um, Mike started with Dent Wizard in the '90s, and then after three years of being a tech, uh, went into the education side of thing.
And then as near as we could figure rough numbers, uh, Mike had, you know, as part of the Dent Wizard training team, Mike had, uh, [00:04:00] trained prior to opening Gateway Dent, somewhere in the 2000-ish number of PDR techs came through training while he was at The Wiz. Um, which is pretty amazing, right? In a- in this relatively small PDR world that we live in, um, to get to sit down and talk to somebody who has had a hand in thousands of careers in this amazing trade of paintless dent repair, uh, was pretty cool.
So Mike, if you watch this one, thank you very much for having me down and inviting me in, uh, and spending time to do a podcast and all of that good stuff. So, uh, very, very cool. Uh, this week's show, uh, we're going random because that's just how I'm feeling today. I don't wanna do one topic. Uh, in fact, there was no one topic, um, that really stood out to me.
So I went over to chat, [00:05:00] and we... ChatGPT, and we brainstormed a little bit. And, uh, we are here, uh, and we're gonna get going. So one of the things that, one of the subjects that came up was AI, and how are you using AI, and what does AI look like? Well, here's another little teaser for you. Uh, tomorrow night, Monday, the 20th, um, I've got my good friend Keith Cosentino coming into the 20 Group, uh, to do a, to do an AI workshop, uh, with us.
I guess, well, he's technically gonna do an AI workshop with me. Uh, and everybody will get to watch and see how that works. Uh, and as an added bonus, um, we are recording that, uh, and it is gonna go out as a PDR College podcast episode. So, uh, I can't remember how many times I've been on the show, uh, but this is definitely gonna be one, uh, you don't wanna miss if you're using AI at all or maybe even if you're [00:06:00] not using AI, you're not gonna wanna miss this one.
Um, I'm excited to see what all we're gonna dive into. I had a little discovery call with Keith, um, earlier today. I've got some homework to do. I've got some, uh, software or AIs or programs to sign up for and download. Um, so I'm excited to see where that goes, so keep an eye out on the PDR College podcast feed, um, to sit in on the little AI workshop, uh, that we're doing, that Keith is doing for us.
So super cool. But AI, man, it has... I'm certain that I'm not using it to my fullest extent, um, but it becomes very useful. Uh, so on a weekly basis, I use it right here in the podcast. Uh, so sometimes, like today, right, I've got my little notes, uh, and did some brainstorming with it. [00:07:00] Once it's done, um, man, like, thinking back to all the processing and everything I had to do just for the PDR Marketing Minute and how, man, uh, we would spend a fair amount of time publishing, you know, those short episodes.
Like, most of those were under five minutes. These are all typically, you know, 30 to, 30 to 60 minutes. So here's, here's my weekly workflow with AI. Once I run through here, right, it saves my recording, and then I rip the audio out, uh, in DaVinci Resolve. Super easy. Then I take that audio, and I upload it into an AI called Descript, and in, like, five minutes or less, it will take my audio file, my MP3, and pull out the transcript, and it really does a pretty damn good job.
Um, so it rips my transcript out. [00:08:00] If, uh, w- we have multiple speakers, so, like last week, we had Dan, uh, I could actually upload that audio, and then if I wanna label the speakers, it will go through and intelligently pull out, um, something that I said. Like, it will pull out intelligently something that I said, and it'll play that, and
it'll say, "Identify this speaker." And then, you know, Dan would talk about, uh, how he started in 1996. It would maybe, oh, it would maybe play that, and it would say, "Identify this speaker." And then if it has questions, it would identify another one to make sure, and then it will go through and label every single one of the, uh sentence from each person.
Like, it's pretty crazy. And then I can take that transcript, uh, it uploads right into my s- po- podcast feed, which is great. But then I also go to either ChatGPT or Claude, and, uh, lately I've been doing Claude 'cause I can organize and save projects in there. It's pretty cool. [00:09:00] Um, I throw the transcript right in there, and I've trained it on, on what I wanna say and when I talk about a link.
You know, like, "Head on over to ansonpdr.com to see the tool of the week." Teaser, uh, Tool of the Week's from Anson. Anyways, um, and if I... if it can't find the link, it'll ask me for the specific link. Or when I go in and paste the transcript, I just say, "Hey, here's the link to, you know, W20 from the PDR Finesse Tools that we talked about
It then, but Claude then creates a, a pages, 'cause I'm on a Mac, right? So Word if you were on a PC, creates a, uh, Word file or a DOCX file for me and brings it down, and it has my, uh, my YouTube description with all of my calls to action and all the links to my social media handles. Uh, it creates the show [00:10:00] notes, um, inside that we put in the podcast feed.
I also take that transcript and put it in there. Uh, and then on a lot of the episodes, I actually have it write me a blog post, uh, as well. It is... My goodness. Yeah, I've been getting too much sleep this weekend is the problem I slept great and slept in both days. Uh, and it's Sunday, in case we didn't say it's Sunday.
Um, but I think I got too much sleep. Wore me out. Um, another place that I'm using AI is, right, I've got my coaching program. Side note, asterisk, if you're interested in PDR coaching for your business, reach out to me. Send me a DM, a text, an email, however you can get ahold of me, get ahold of me. Uh, I am doing one-on-one sessions.
Um, if you need help on any aspect of your business and you're looking for a coach, I am open for coaching. So let me know, hit me up, and, uh, we will go from there. [00:11:00] So I'm using Claude to help me be a better coach, right? I'm doing multiple, uh, coaching sessions each week, um, recording everything and transcribing everything, and then I'm going in and working with Claude to help identify, um, you know, holes in operations or weaknesses.
Um, I'm almost giving my input like, "Hey, um This guy is struggling with here and here and here, and I think we're losing product- productivity. I think if we do X, Y, and Z, we could end up with this. What does that extrapolate out to, right? And then I'll have those conversations with Claude, who is my coach's coach, right, in this scenario, and then I'm gonna be able to create this...
You know, we've got an hour-long coaching session, and I've got my transcriptions. Uh, I'm able to upload my transcript and then get Claude to bring out a, a nice, uh... It's AI. I mean, [00:12:00] there's no question that it's AI, but a nice synopsis of what we went through, and I can sort of work back and forth. And what I'm really excited for is, as we progress week to week to week, then at the end of the, the multi-week sessions, uh, I think it's gonna be really cool to sort of do a where we started you at, where you finished at, and where you can go, um, by the end of the year if you keep things up and you keep your foot on the gas.
Uh, it's making me a better coach than I've ever been, right? And I've been in this space with the 20 Group and everything for actively for six, almost six and a half years now. Um, and I'm really excited to be bringing it to other individuals. So anyways, if you're interested in coaching, hit me up. If you wanna learn more about AI, keep an eye out for that PDR College episode.
And, uh, yeah, very cool. So, ah, another one. Let's talk [00:13:00] content. So I think I mentioned it in here. Pretty sure I mentioned it in here. Anyways, uh, I've been forever struggling to be better at content, and I know for sure, and I've... In, in here, I even call it out as one of my goals for the year is to let my personality roll through more, and I feel like I've been doing better.
In fact, I've heard from several of you, thanks for reaching out, uh, that have reached out and been, been like, "Man, you know, I really love what you're doing. I love your videos. I love how you are coming across." Um, and I also love when I meet people in person, and they're like, "Dude, you're just like your videos."
I'm like, "Well, yeah, it's me. I'm the dude on this side of the camera," right? And I'm the same dude that walks past the camera. Like it doesn't... I try not to be performative when I'm here. I try to just let it flow through. Um, but on all of my years of teaching, right, I did have a very polished side. [00:14:00] Anyways, trying to be more real.
Uh, so I found this chick on Instagram, Jesse Jean, uh, who has this YAP challenge. And so I'm like day 18 in. I think it's day 18. Um, it's a 40-day, uh, class. Like every day she drops a new class, a new lesson, and
I am implementing, uh, some of the stuff that she has taught me, uh, trying to be less Trying to be less polished. Trying to be a little bit more ... Trying to be a little better with my hooks. So, right, I'm seeing it come through. Uh, we are ... Let me give you an update. We are growing. Uh, I had stalled out on my Facebook growth.
Uh, but coming back into this challenge, uh, we're getting there. We are at [00:15:00] 4,916 followers, right? On our way to that 5,000, uh, that I've been chasing. I don't think 5,000 really opens up anything for me on, uh, on Facebook, but, uh, regardless, it's a goal that I set, and I'm going to achieve it. Uh, and then I wanna hit 10,000 and 20,000 and, you know, 1 million.
So what I am seeing is, uh, an increase since I've been following Jesse's, uh, advice and trying to be a little bit more engaging, uh, and letting my personality go through. If you haven't seen this one, my, my little rant the other day about Audi and their, their ridiculous use of a five-point Torx bit because we need to make that more complicated.
Anyways, um, I had a blast shooting my little rant. It was very raw. [00:16:00] Um, and even Elena came home and, and she was like, "Man, the girls at the salon were cracking up. They love your videos." And, uh, she was watching. She was in a training, uh, you know, letting somebody do something, so she's just a lot of downtime.
And she's like, "I was just sort of scrolling," and, uh, she goes, "I saw your video come up," and she's like, "Oh, my dad's mad. What's he mad about?" And all the girls in the salon were like, "Your dad's mad? Oh, we gotta see the video," and they were cracking up. Anyways, um, letting it come through, like the performance results, uh, I'm, I'm super happy with.
Now, I can't tell you exactly how this translates to business, but what I can tell you is it definitely translates to traction. Uh, and I should have screenshotted my, uh, Instagram followers before I started this challenge because it is definitely ticking up. But anyways, this video, right, head over to Instagram, @dentrepairnow, and go find my WTF [00:17:00] video.
But anyways, we are at, I got 19 and a half thousand views, 480 likes, 120 comments, four reshares, and 196 sends. That for sure, those stats actually are a little bit more, uh, exciting to me, um, than when we had one go viral when I still had AAI, that we like smoked through a million real quick in a weekend.
Um, so that was great. And then- Uh, my five dirty secrets, right? I did a not, right, switching up the, switching up the workflow, right? Not just always talking head videos. Um, for a quick post that's just infor- informational, right, 3,400 views, four comments, not a lot of comments, but 13 shares. Like, that's real traction for me.
Um, [00:18:00] crushed it here with a little dense layer tool review. Check that bad boy out. The old nickel tip, 29,000 views, only six comments, that's fine. One re-share. I think that was Matt. Thanks Matt, appreciate you. Dense layer Matt, right? And 557 likes and 22 sends I can tell you for sure that I am seeing these...
Right, I'm like, oh, what am I, like 15, 16 lessons in because some of them are like multi-part, so it's not just each one's a thing. Anyways, I can already see my traffic and my intensity ticking up. Um, I'm trying to change how I do content. Uh, well, not change how I do content, tweak how I do content. Um, trying to get some more insight, some more action.
Um, speaking of which, one of the lessons I took the other day [00:19:00] that I need to get into are series of videos, series of content. What series of content would you guys like to see? Do you want tool tips? Do you want tools of the week? Do you want like a tool of the day or just like a, here's a new tool that's out?
What do you want there? Do you want a tech tip session? Uh, I'm definitely gonna be bringing the rants, right? When I, when I'm having one of those days and I get a little spiced up, um, right when that old ginger starts to like fight the gray off and I get a little bit spicy, I think we're gonna let some more rants come through because I had fun, uh, doing it and sorta letting a little steam off.
And, uh, man, I got texts and all kinds of comments From the, uh, from that post. So some of that. Hit me up by drop some comments here. What do you wanna see, uh, from me? Uh, that would be good. Uh, in fact, one of [00:20:00] the first ones I did, the fir-- in fact, the first one I did was a glue pull tip. I think it was this one.
Um, yeah, it was this one here. So actually, I think I accidentally reposted it twice. Yeah, I screwed it up. So I had this one. Dang it. That we got 8,400 views. You know, not bad. And this is the same one, 48. Like, so they really should be combined. Um, but that was one of the first talking videos I did, and, uh, wish it told me when we did that.
Doesn't matter. Anyways, that was the first one, uh, that I dropped. So go check it out. Or maybe it was the you think I'm crazy. Anyways, I'm having fun with it, creating more content, being a bit more
engaging, trying to be engaging. I don't know. It's, it's... I'm having fun with it. [00:21:00] What, uh... Really? I have do not disturb on, and my phone's making funny noises. Um, what, uh, what are some tactics that you guys are using for social media? I love, uh, Keith, uh, you know, Constantino was, was a bit inspirational on trying to get the traction rolling.
Um, he is doing a ton of Instagram content. I see it all the time. I love it. It's interesting. It's fun. Um, what kind of content are you doing? What changes are you making to your content to make it more engaging, to get more reach? Um, yeah, let me know. Let me know
Best technicians. What are... So the, so the prompt that ChatGPT... Wait a minute, do I have AI prompting me now? That ain't right. Anyways, we're gonna run with it. So, so conversation starter, it said, "Why the best tech- why the best technicians usually aren't the fastest, but they're the most [00:22:00] consistent?" Well, I don't know if that statement is true, but while we're being random, I wanna talk about a couple of insights that I've noticed from watching some of the best.
So, so what I'm really picturing here is John, right? Watching John work and teach, and watching Bryce, uh, do and teach, and Arleson Geddes, Geddes, uh, watching him. So All three of those guys, I've noticed that they are very, very deliberate And they will take the time, especially Bryce, especially Bryce, will take the time to get set up exactly how they need to be to make the best, [00:23:00] cleanest moves.
And I really, I aspire to do that, uh, especially with my glue pulling. You know, I'm not generally one to look for, like, the big e- exciting wow move. I'm more looking for that complete clean unfold. Uh, so when I was in Italy with Bryce, um, helping, you know, rolling it with Kiko to help Bryce and, and just being there to assist, watching him get set up, he did a quarter panel on a, I guess it was a Golf.
I think they still call them Golfs over there. And he needed to come in and return back and push the bottom edge. He really could've used the nickel tip from Dent Slayer, like I showed in that video on my Instagram, right? That would've been perfect. In fact, Matt Boyett was there. Matt, where were you at with the, the nickel tip, dude?
The nickel tip would've been perfect. We may not have had a tool that would bend that far. But anyways, watching him take the time to set up to exactly the right [00:24:00] angle, so he's like, "Okay, when we heat this, we've got it under tension." He's like, "I don't wanna be fighting anything as I wanna come in, and I know if I get right here and right here, I can make a great move."
And it really was the same thing, uh, last year at Advanced Skills Seminar, uh, when I was running the camera and filming Bryce, and he had his bender on the back of the van. And man, I bet he made on the, just for the one tool in the one little area of a big dent, I, I think he went back to the van two or three, maybe four times to get the bend on the tool exactly right.
Like, that, that patience that he has, that, that Arleson has, is just unbelievable. Another trait of the greatest techs that I've seen, right, and this is, right, all three of these guys that, that I'm referencing for sure, they don't make mistakes They don't [00:25:00] make bad pushes. They aren't slipping and sliding and forcing, right?
Part of what makes Jean, who is incredibly fast, is he just doesn't make any mistakes, right? It's, uh... I think it was Keith that I was having a conversation with, and we were talking about, like, the Jeans and the Olsens and the Bryces of the world. Like, what makes them different? Like, what, what are... Why are they...
They're just ... Like, it's, like, just dri- driving a car. Well, I can drive a car, or, like, Mario Andretti can drive a car, and he's so dialed in that he's not making any mistakes. He's, he's got the same shifter that I've got, the same gas pedal, the brake pedal, the clutch, the steering wheel. He's got all the same things that I've got, and he just does it more perfect than I do.
It's not different than I do. It's just more perfect. Or, right, watch, uh, Bryson DeChambeau hit a golf [00:26:00] ball, right? He has swings, and he's got a putter, and he's got the same clubs, and, like, he just doesn't miss that little sweet spot in the center of the club face like I do, right? And after my last weekend playing golf, I shouldn't be here talking to you.
I should grab my sticks that are right over there, and I should be at the driving range pounding some balls to work that rust off. Anyways, back to, back to these guys. They're just not making mistakes, right? When I watch John teach and show, like, doing a crazy deep dent or a big, giant oversized dent or a, a sharp crease, he's just not making any errors, right?
And Arleson goes even further, right? And, and I knew he was, like, a particular badass when we were at Advanced Skills Seminar, uh, down at Matt Moore's place a handful of years ago, and he said, "If you're sanding, you're doing it wrong," right? "If you've gotta sand a tool [00:27:00] mark out, you're doing it wrong." And I'm like, "Bro, I'm just doing it fast."
He's working so perfectly that he's not making mistakes. If you don't make mistakes, you don't have to correct mistakes. If you don't have to correct mistakes, you just keep moving forward, right? Same thing with Bryce. As he's unfolding these cars and unlocking this crazy buckle damage, he's not trying to create more damage, right?
He's trying to move it clean and simply and make it happen, right? It's just ... It's unbelievable to watch these guys fix dents, much like it's unbelievable to watch a, a Mario Andretti. I guess I'm dating myself a little bit, but a lot of you guys are old, too, right? Watch Mario Andretti drive a, uh, car around a racetrack, right, and how perfect it is.
Or, or go back to the heyday of Tiger Woods, or go back and watch Jack Nicklaus, uh, when they were the, the peak of, the peak of their careers. Or watch Jordan play basketball. Like, [00:28:00] we can all do the same thing. These guys are just operating at a much higher, cleaner, better standard. Like, that is... That's what it's all about.
Um, and, you know, you go to these classes, and you watch these guys, and you learn and try to bring it back and add it to what you're doing. Um, but man, the, the patience and the perfection, I think is what separates some of these greats. And then, of course, there's gotta be some level of just crazy innate talent, but there it is.
Like, that's crazy. That's crazy. All right, any other notes I wanna talk about real quick before- Yeah, here we go. Here's a good one. What's one business habit I wish I had started 10 years earlier? And I was just thinking about that this week as we were working through, um ... I think Shannon had to, she had to take her vet, take her cat to the vet or something.
Anyways, [00:29:00] I was into the, in the CRM, right? Fielding a few co- phone calls at the end of the day. I wish, ah, and I've talked about it, but I just never did it. And in fact, in my conversation with Keith a little bit earlier today, we were talking about, yeah, you're diligent, but are you as diligent as the AI would be?
And I guess the answer is no. But the one, one business habit I wish I would have added, you know, 10 years ago that we do today pretty consistently is follow-up. Consistent, hardcore, good follow-up with potential leads. Uh, we literally had thousands of dollars come through the shop this week from follow-up.
From chasing, right, we use a CRM, from using a CRM to chase customers to move through, uh, to stay in touch, and, uh, pursue it. Like, it ... And actually, we had [00:30:00] another one come through that Shannon had been chasing for better than a month that I believe they're just gonna schedule. They don't wanna paint their brand-new car.
Uh, it's gonna be well over $5,000 in repair if they schedule, right on top of the, the thousands that we pulled in that were old, dead leads, uh, this week. So, I wish 10 years ago I had started doing follow-up, uh, or had a better follow-up system in place. Uh, but we do now, which is great. Um, however, if you're not following up, go follow up.
Now, it is time for the tool of the-
Ooh, exciting. I love it. All right, guys, this week's tool of the week is actually a set, and I don't know that you can buy this set 'cause I got it on, uh, the 250 deal from Anson. But anyways, we were down at the open house And, uh, [00:31:00] Mac, uh, was looking for ... So he have, we- he has, had, has, has the regular Door Lords, and they have an inter- interchangeable three-piece set for the regular standard hub.
And the smallest one of those is a three-eighths rod with three-eighths tip. Well, he does a lot of European cars, right? We go Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover that, that he does a ton of work for every week. And he's like, "Man, the three-eighths rod is great, uh, especially when married to the, um, Wizards Dice from Anson and, uh, Ni- or not Anson, from Hudson and Nick, um, available through Anson," right?
The Wizards Dice is awesome. But right, that smaller setup lets you sneak into some of those tighter built doors, right? So he's like, "Dad, I wanna find these in, like, a three-piece set." Um, and I'm like, "Well, we're going to the open house. Like, if they have them, they'll be there." And all they had was a swoop.
[00:32:00] So instead of coming off about at a 90, right, they came off at about a 45. And it was eh, I mean, it was good. It's, it's, it has a purpose, but it's not the 90-degree kick or straight out kick that he was looking for. So we went and talked to Craig, and I was asking him like, "Hey, can I just take these and bend them in my bender?"
And he's like, "Ah, it's kind of heat treated. I wouldn't do that." He's like, "Oh, I'll tell you what, we're close on these. I'll make sure that they get done and, and Mac can get a set." So as soon as they came out, Mac got a set, and as soon as I played with them, I'm like, "Man, I need a set too." Um, and then Anson did their 250th, uh, America sale, and I went and picked these up.
So the tool of the week this week, and you can go call it a three-piece set if they've got it, and if not, it's a six-piece set, is the three-eighths Door Lord compact hub setup. Uh, and they all come with this tip. This is an [00:33:00] awesome tip. I think these tips alone are like 20 bucks. Um, but it's a standard five-sixteenths thread into a three-eighths rod.
Um, and man, I've just been finding myself... In fact, you remember, uh, just a few episodes ago, I had the Tequila three-eighths double bend regular size hub married with the Finesse three-eighths extensions and tip set, right? Like, it allows you to sneak into some places that you just can't get into. Um, but anyways, I got the three-piece set And I will throw a link, I'll throw a link at least to the individual tools in the set.
But this is my three-piece set that I got. That covers me for most of my door ding stuff. And we also got Mack, um, the six-piece set, uh, because he's a bigger tool hoarder than I am. So, uh, these things are great. Tons and tons of drive, [00:34:00] uh, just like that, um, three-eights Tequila double bend. Whatever heat treating process they're doing to these, these things are stout, like no give at all, right?
Like, pretty, pretty crazy stuff. And again, takes your regular tips. Also marries wonderfully with the, uh, micro tips, uh, from Black Plague, and the simple plain R4. I can't remember what Dent Slayer calls it, but it's basically a 5/16 thread with an R4 tip on the end. These are fantastic for that. These are great for sneaking into, um, taillight holes, right?
You pull your taillight out, and then you usually have a female grommet that the male pin from the taillight goes into. These sneak right into there, you're not distorting, and then you can get some angle, you can get some twist, you can get some push. Pretty fantastic. With that order from [00:35:00] Anson, I actually also got this new handle that I wasn't aware was available, but it is.
This is the new Econo Line compact hub. So it is not a quick release, it is a screw, right? Works great. Let me show you it on here first, 'cause I got the little bonus twofer for you on this one. So this handle. So I know some guys don't like interchangeable handles because you get... I don't know if you can hear it.
I guess you can hear it. Hear just a little bit of play. This, with this screw bit, you can crank that on there, and there is- Zero play in there. Incredibly tight fit. Um, so that's the new Econo line handle from Anson Tequila, I believe. Anyways, I think this handle's only 89 bucks, which is [00:36:00] killer. Uh, super cheap.
With these, as soon as I saw this come out of the box, I was like, "Oh, a new handle design." Put it on, pretty cool. I thought, "Man, this could be nice," and I even messaged Craig and I'm like, "Hey, this new handle's great, um, but maybe you should, uh, add an extension out of the screw side so that, um, I can get a handle like I have on my Hales Angels."
Right? So when you're under the hood twisting, that little extra thumb grip there is just nice for some control and some extra torque when you get up into a, a tight spot. Well, I messaged Craig and I'm like, "Hey, you should make a little extension to come out of the thumb side of this," and he's like, "Can you send me a picture?
I can't quite picture what you're talking about that would make it different than what it is." Well, Craig, this is again, why you make tools and I'm just the guy who fixes [00:37:00] them. With this Econo handle, that little screw-in bit actually gives you not only a little bit more leverage than this size, um, handle does, but it gives you that offset thumb reach to get in there, which makes these, and I've had these since they came out.
The Tequila curved... I guess this is like a three-fer. This is like a three-fer tool of the week. Uh, Christina and Craig, you guys get a little bonus. Uh, anyways, right, the curved Tequila brace tool set, um, can be a little tricky when you take away that thumb, right, with the standard bit, the standard handle, there's nothing there.
This now, right, we can put this on and now I can get in and I've got incredible drive and control because I got that thumb marker that goes right out there. So there's your three-fer tool of [00:38:00] the week, the compact three-eighths interchangeable compact hub Door Lord set of three or six The Econo-Line handle, screw on, lock on, and, right, the curved brace kit, brace set from Tequila, right?
Very similar to the Hail's Angels, but in sharp instead of this. And also, I don't own them because I already own all of these. Um, if you don't own these yet, maybe these are... All right, it's a four for, a four for tool of the week. The Dent Reaper Hail's Angels. Just go buy them. John Vidin, if you're watching this, would you add these and make it an eight-piece set instead of a six-piece set so everybody gets everything they need?
Anyways, go buy the six-piece set, and then get the... I think that's the [00:39:00] 3/16, and then add the 3/16 tools to your order, because you're gonna want them. Um, this end is just magical. Um, the tip, and that way you can see that the tip is very sharp, so you can get a sharp push, but the end is flat. You can get an incredibly good clean push, right?
Hail's Angels, amazing. Also available in compact hub or fixed handle. But if you're buying this and these, buy this and save all this weight, and then you got all kinds of everything you need. Um, and again, the Tequila curved brace tools with that Econo-Line handle are amazing. And that was like a month's worth of tool of the weeks in one session.
Pretty amazing. All right, so PDR Expo's coming up. Oh, hold on. Man, I'm slacking on [00:40:00] the, uh, transitions here, right? There we go. Back to regular all access, um, screen. Anyways, PDR Expo is coming up in Las Vegas, September 25th and 26th at the Rio. Uh, looking forward to our roundtable presentation on Friday. Um, why would you not wanna hang out in a room of that much knowledge and learn and ask all kinds of questions?
I believe Keith Cosentino is gonna emcee that one. So 'cause it's like the Keith show. We'll have to have Keith on here and do another, um, side-by-side show, right? Drop one on all access and PDR College. And Saturday, my cold glue talk. Super excited for that. Um, lots of cold glue information to drop for you.
Uh, what else we got going on? I'm still working on that soft skills seminar. Soft skills... See, when I say soft skills seminar, it makes me feel like I'm [00:41:00] trying to piggyback on the advanced skills seminar, and I'm not. But soft skills seminar just rolls off the tongue. Anyways, our soft skills event How about that?
Uh, I'm still working out some details, uh, but I'm looking for mid to late October potentially. Um, I know I've had a bunch of you reach out and say that you are interested in that. I am also interested in that. Uh, and I believe... Well, I don't wanna say that, 'cause I'm working on some things. Could be here, could be somewhere else.
Definitely gonna be in October, but we'll find out. Um, again, if you are trying to get better at your PDR business and you are looking for some help, or you're not quite sure what direction to go to, I am doing one-on-one coaching. Reach out to me, [email protected]. Hit me up on Facebook, hit me up on Instagram.
Uh, text me if you got my phone number. [00:42:00] Don't WhatsApp me, because I don't keep the notifications on 'cause I get too much spam. But if you're trying to come international, just send me an email, and then we can talk on WhatsApp. Um, I have, uh, single sessions, I have in-person sessions at your location or mine, uh, and I also have multi-week, uh, packages available.
So if you were thinking about it, hit me up. A- the discovery call to figure it out, figure out what's going on is totally free. Um, I wanna make sure that we would be a good fit together before I would ask either of us to commit to each other. Um, so hit that up, uh, if you're interested. And I think that's it.

'Cause I'm gonna create some serieses. Series-I, Siri, Siri-I. I [00:43:00] don't wanna say Siri too loud or she'll pop on the screen and wanna know what I need help with.
Uh, anyways, got some new series coming. Uh, let me know what you always... let me know what you guys wanna hear. I wanna talk about stuff you wanna listen to. Uh, and speaking of which, I appreciate all of you coming in here each and every week and listening to me. Uh, I think this is episode 78. We're well past the halfway mark, uh, and I don't have any intentions of missing a week, so we are well on our way past the halfway point, uh, to the end of the year, where I said I'm not gonna miss a single week.
I may have actually said Monday, but we've now shifted it to every week. And as promised, I've not missed one yet. As always, please follow us on social media, @dentrepairnow across the board, uh, especially on that Facebook. What do I need, like 80-some people to break 5,000? Come on, just share it and tell people to freaking follow me.
All right, I'm just kidding. I'm not, I'm not that mad. I'm not gonna go on a rant on you. All right, see you guys. [00:44:00] Bye.
