#91 Play The Long Game
===
[00:00:00] One, two
Welcome back. Another episode of the All Access Podcast from Dent Repair Now.
Guys, it is tough hanging out with dent guys, hanging out with dent techs. That's why it is Wednesday after work, and I'm just getting this week's show done. However... Oops. However, I'm not breaking this streak. We're keeping it going all the way through, right? And what's this gonna be? 91, 92? Like, we're knocking on 100.
I can't wait for that 100th episode, but I'm not missing a week. We're gonna keep that rolling. Where have I been? What have I been [00:01:00] doing? Um, well, uh, last week, last... Was it Tuesday? Yeah, last Tuesday, uh, hopped in a plane, headed down to Fort Lauderdale to hang out with Derrick and Grace at The Dent Demon. Um, we did, uh, a couple of days of advanced training.
We had a little 20-group mastermind meetup. Um, awesome, awesome trip. However When you're going hard, you're going hard, and the days were long and the nights were long, and then the nights were short, uh, but we got it done. Uh, so anyways, uh, Jack Bucknell dropped in, uh, the Woo man himself. We were hanging out with...
Oh, well, I guess he's on both sides. We were hanging out with Jon Videen. Uh, the Dent Reaper, uh, made the trip down. Um, Nick Prang from Michigan was in town. Derrick, of course, was there, and then his guys, uh, and Grace. Um, all of us hung out. Uh, it was really great. [00:02:00] Um, I got to spend a little extra time at the shop, um, with Grace.
Uh, right? So that's his wife. Uh, they work together. She runs the shop. He sort of runs wholesale. I went down Tuesday night in order to have all day Wednesday to set up. Well, when I got there Wednesday, they had already done a pretty great job of getting everything together, and there wasn't much to set up.
Uh, so I got to sit down and really talk about sales and customer interaction, um, a- and trying to kind of help get Grace up to speed and show her some of my techniques. I don't want to say tricks, 'cause they're not tricks, although some of them are psychologically based. But they're not tricks. It's just psychological warfare.
Uh, warfare's strong. Anyways, some of my tips and tricks, um, for dealing with customers and, and setting expectations and, and locking, um, helping to lock prices in. So here I'll share with you one of my favorite [00:03:00] ones. Uh, and, and I think, I think it's gonna help them a ton, and maybe it'll help you a ton. And because I was teaching last week, right, I'm a little hyper-aware of my own actions when I go out to talk to a customer.
So here it is. Right? Before we look at the car, before we're spending time at the car, as soon as I walk out the door and I'm seeing that it is something significant, let's just call it significant damage, something that is not going to be a fast in-and-out repair, here's the sentence Have you talked to your insurance company yet?
Instantly right? Without saying where our prices start or what we might think this might cost, or, you know, have you been to a body shop or anything like that? How- Have you talked to your insurance company yet? Think about how that makes you feel. [00:04:00] How would that... If somebody said that to you, instantly you're like, "Uh, uh-oh, not cheap."
Right? Instantly cheap or inexpensive sort of gets tossed out the window, right? Great technique. Put it into your mix. You gotta deliver it right. It, it's gotta be almost in like... Almost try to say it in passing, right? I'm not like, "Have you talked to your insurance company yet? Hmm." No, it's just like, uh, walking out, I see the, "Ooh, wow, have you talked to your insurance company yet?"
Set that hook, right? We're trying to anchor the whole time. Anyways, really thoroughly enjoyed that. I love li- well, I would love to teach, period, right? That's like one of my life's goals is to just teach. But I really love teaching sales and, and how to, um, how to make your, your day go better, right? How to make your customer in-interactions better.
I [00:05:00] love, love that stuff. So really cool to get to spend the day, um, with, uh, Grace at the shop and, and, um, his technician, Andy and, uh, Paul, right, getting to see some, some of the in and out of the shop. Beautiful shop, by the way. The theming is fantastic, right? The, um, the decor inside matches. Great little, like, actual wet bar, big TV with some music videos playing, nice snack table, comfortable couch to sit on, great chairs.
It just a really, like a welcoming, welcoming customer area. Uh, and then a nice, great laid-out shop. So very, very cool to hang out there. Then a little bit of advanced training. You know, we talked, uh... We did some, uh, like carrier plate R and I, which doesn't scare me anymore, but used to terrify me. Uh, and I've seen that a lot of techs are afraid to take a carrier plate out.
Um, of course, the best laid plans, uh, the BMW we had in really threw us a [00:06:00] curveball on how to get the glass out. But we figured it out, and we got it done and even learned some new tricks. Uh, we did some, um, lateral tension and, right, really unfolding, um, unfolding cranked up metal, you know, like not Brice Kelly stuff 'cause nobody's Brice Kelly except for Brice.
But that really hard-hit stuff and, and learning how to unfold and flow the metal. Um, sharp creases, you know, the good rolling technique for that. Uh, shrinky box, uh, working out in the open, working aluminum, steel, under braces, uh, edge repair. Um, we-- I mean, it was a really... It was a, it was a busy couple of days in the shop.
Um, and then, you know, some great nightlife, of course, with some great restaurants, some good cigar bars. Um, good, good cigars, good food, good drinks, and good friends. Man, that makes for a, a really, really, really good time. Um, maybe the craziest [00:07:00] dive bar I've ever been to. That is not, uh, that's not necessarily podcast friendly, but hit me up.
I'll tell you about it. Crazy place. Cool place. Uh, and we got two cigars for two bucks next door. Uh, it was g- it was a good deal. And then, you know, masterminded then right, trying to make the trip. Originally, MeLissa was gonna go down and we were gonna spend the day in Florida seeing a friend, going to Orlando, and then fly out of Orlando Some travel came up for family members.
MeLissa couldn't make it, so I moved my flight around. So imagine going, hanging out with... It was like being at the expo again, uh, just on a smaller scale, like working all day, get changed, go out to dinner and hang out and like it went late and just, phew, tired. Saturday night into Sunday morning, I had a 6:15 flight, so I had to get up at 3:30 in the morning.
Um, man, my sleep, sleep, my night's [00:08:00] sleep Saturday night basically was like seven or eight naps throughout the day. Uh, I really wanted to come down and try to do the show. However, uh, I was exhausted. Like, like I'm, nope, I, I won't make sense. I won't be cohesive. It's just not gonna be good. We're not gonna do it.
Uh, then Monday came around, uh, busy day teaching. I had, I had a couple students, uh, all day for, for some, uh, collision glue pull, uh, advanced glue pulling, uh, class. Taught them all day. We're talking to some new potential hires. Uh, we went out to dinner with them, you know, 10:00 before I got home. Like, it's just chaos.
And then yesterday, I've teased it a few times on here, at least brought it up. Yesterday, we finally launched the new PDR Life podcast. Uh, a few of you have already reached out and messaged. Thank you, uh, for the messages. Thanks for listening and checking it out and giving me the feedback. Uh, I am, in case you missed [00:09:00] the video, I don't have a hat with me.
I'm not gonna grab one of those. I was throwing my hat into the ring for, uh, beginner PDR training. Uh, and I'm kind of trying to do it different than anybody else is doing it. Anyways, I launched... We launched our 10-episode podcast all about getting into PDR and what the PDR business looks like yesterday, uh, Netflix style, right?
Whole season all at once. Uh, I've got a couple other bonus episodes that I wanna record, um, but they're not recorded, and these were the 10 core episodes. Uh, so if you are interested in listening to me ramble more about PDR, but more specifically on the beginning side, but it's not all beginning, like there's some advice in there.
Or if you're getting ready to train somebody, there's some advice in there. pdrlifepodcast.com will take you to our page on the website where you can get to everything. And if you hear of anybody thinking about getting [00:10:00] into PDR or they're reaching out to you and they're like, "Hey, Billy Bob, I'm thinking about getting into this PDR thing," I would appreciate if you would send them to my podcast and they can listen to what I have to say.
And, uh, yeah, we'll see what it's all about.
So that's where I've been. That's why I've waited till Wednesday to get here. But we're not gonna drop this. Um, we're not gonna miss this. Uh- Streak. We're not breaking the streak. And shout-outs last week, man, uh, good friend, is a client, great dude, great family. Man, we have a new award. I need to send him something.
There, there's a... I've gotta... I'm gonna have to come up with something for you, James, and I know you'll listen to this, and I'm surprised you haven't already texted me on like, "Where's my episode at?" But you got a newborn. Last Monday morning when the podcast out- went out at regular, its [00:11:00] regularly scheduled time, um, I saw a James tagged you on Facebook, and I'm like, "Why did James tag me on Facebook?"
And his story, and we re-shared it on our story, but in case you missed it, when your wife goes into labor at 11:30 PM or whatever it was, but the All Access podcast drops at 7:00 AM the next morning, and he was in the room with his wife. I believe the baby was al- the baby was already born, but with his wife and the newborn listening to the show.
James, I, I don't know how you top that, brother. So listener of the year, uh, maybe I'll have to find a plaque or something. I'm gonna tell my Claude to, uh, give me a reminder of that. But dude, congratulations to you and your growing family. Uh, that's awesome, and you really made my day with the when your wife goes into labor, but the All Access show drops at 7:00 AM.
I don't [00:12:00] even know where he came up with that, and I hope your wife didn't hurt you too bad Amazing. So
Two new podcasts came out this week. Well, or three, including my new show. But I mean, two new episodes came out that dropped this week. Uh, so PDR College, Keith dropped a solo episode. Great information on pricing and dealing with, uh, used car managers, et cetera, et cetera, and anchoring and everything like that, and what not to do.
Uh, Keith, in case you're listening, it was a good therapy session. I, I would recommend going over and listening to Keith's episode on, on what he was up against. And, you know, if you're doing... Let's rewind that. If you're doing wholesale work, I really would recommend going and listening to this week's PDR College podcast episode.
Uh, I'll see if we can drop a link, but [00:13:00] just search PDR. If you have-- And you shouldn't be listening to me and not... Excuse me. You shouldn't be listening to just me and not them. They should be in your feed, and they beat me to the punch this week anyways. Go check this week's episode out. Uh, it was very, very good.
Um, so the gist of it was hard repair at a dealership where there had been some issues. They did not discuss price ahead of time. Uh, there were some other... You-- Again, go listen to the episode. At the end of the day, it was like, "Well, what do I need? What can I charge you on this? Where, how can I not rip your head off?"
So on and so forth. He played, Keith played one of the, one of my favorite cards to play at the dealers. When you get stuck on that weird favor repair, something's bad, it doesn't look that bad, but it takes a ton of time
I think you can all feel that conver- if you do, if you've done wholesale for a long time, you, you might just feel that conversation. Like, you know the whole time you're working on the car, you're like, [00:14:00] "Er, uh, man, this is gonna be awkward." And then you go in, then it's awkward. One of my favorite things, in fact, while I was listening to this show, I'm like, "Come on, Keith, I think you can do this.
I kn- I know this is the card I would play And it came down to like, "Well, how long did it take you?" "Well, you know, two and a half hours or two hours," or whatever it was. "Wow, well, I think this," whatever. "How about I'm just gonna charge you your labor rate in the shop?" Now, the bod- or the dealership did sting him back pretty good with that, um, but I would've maybe come back with a, "Okay, well, if I'm not as skilled as your mechanics, we'll cut it in half."
However, that's a great way to play when you get stuck in those awkward positions at, at the dealerships, and you've got too much time into it, and you know, like, you didn't have that discussion ahead of time. Don't be afraid to play the, "Well, what's your labor rate in the shop?" "Oh, it's 200 an hour." "Well, I worked on this for two hours.
I'm just gonna match your labor rate. We're gonna call it 400 bucks." "Well, I guess [00:15:00] that's what it would cost us in the shop, so okay." Right, so just a good way to deflect. Go check out that, um... Go check out that story. Or that story. That show. Go check out that show. And then Dent Slayer dropped a new, um, podcast with Jeremy.
Jeremy, I'm sorry. I listened to the whole show over two days. You probably don't listen to my show anyways. But if you do, you should text me. Um, Nadeau is how the world says it, but it's not how his family says it. But anyways, Jeremy Nadeau, newest episode on Dent Slayer. Anyways, one of the things that I can't remember if it was Matt or James brought up, talking about content.
And I've talked about content on here before and how it helps you and how it works and what it takes And Matt and James both had some pushback on, you know, when you get busy, you don't wanna stop and make a video. And I certainly... [00:16:00] Listen, I get busy. I wanted to make the podcast. I couldn't find the time, or I wouldn't make the time, or I didn't make the time to make the podcast until Wednesday, and you're gonna get this on Thursday morning at 7:00
And again, Matt or James, one of them was like, "Well, you know, when you're making dent money or hail money, you don't wanna make content." And I can appreciate that. However, they also said that pushing dents is like right now money, and right now money is great. And they said that, um, making your content is almost like making your commercial that is future work At Dent Repair Now, the, the entire time we've been running this business, our rule is, or our philosophy is, we're playing the long game.
We always play the long game because the long game always wins, and we always win no matter what. No matter how we take it on the chin or lose [00:17:00] this job or that account or this, in the long run, when we play our cards right, we know we're good, right? So that is what we're trying to do is play the long game.
As I was listening to the show, it may have been... In fact, it may have even inspired me, right? I've had a, I've had a Model Y, a '26 Model Y quarter panel that I started yesterday that I was trying to jam out, and then another Model Y '26, and I've got another '26... It's Model Y week here at Dent Repair Now. Yay.
Uh, oh, side note, watch out for, I got a couple tech tip videos coming out for you guys on this, so keep an eye out. Um- And I'm like, "Man, I, I do need to be better at making content." And, and Liv was here, uh, the last two days. She was on fall break, um, and you've seen maybe some of Mack's videos coming out, like, 'cause she was here to shoot.
So she shot, and then I'm like, "Man, I've gotta feed Liv some content." And top of mind, it happens, and then whether it was James or Matt on the [00:18:00] show talking about content, I get hung up on my gear. Like, like this webcam wasn't gonna necessarily buy this webcam, but there's a part of me that wants to use those cameras over there and do a multi-cam podcast and everything with overhead camera, and it's just not executable all the time, right?
Or I wanna grab my, my mirrorless camera or set up multiple GoPros or my little two-inch sensor flip cam, whatever the hell that thing's called. And I was like, "You know what? You're right." And even yesterday, uh, when, uh, Mack was here grabbing some tools, Liv was here in the mor- like, everybody was in the shop in the morning, and one of Mack's videos...
Ooh, the my ladies video. Go share that again. Get him some more views. Uh, let me show you my ladies. This is Jill. This is Rebecca, whatever. He is getting good views on that. I, it was 42,000 views or something the other day when I looked. [00:19:00] And Liv was like, "Yeah, but your dad will just, like, grab his phone and be like, 'Hey, guys, it's Gene.
I just wanted to show you this thing on this car.'" And she's like, "That just takes off, and there's no thought to it." And I was like, "All right. Touche," Matt or James, whoever said like, "It's the long game." And they were saying, like, "Well, it's understandable to not." Well, I'm gonna push back that it's unacceptable, unacceptable to not create said videos.
So we had this Model Y in today, the second Model Y of the week. 26 is a new body style. They do not crown up like the 25 and back body style does. Right. 'Cause those were horrible. Like my shoulders, when I saw Model Y liftgate coming in, I'm like, "Oh, man, it's gonna hurt." Came in and I'm like, "Oh, tailgate redesign.
Nice." No, no crowned up. Not no crowned up. My [00:20:00] English is, are good. It's been a long week. Anyways, I was like, you know what? I'm gonna sh- if I, in fact, I shot a little video for PDR Techs, uh, 'cause you all are part of my audience. Uh, but also I like to talk to customers. So I did a little PSA for Model Y owners, right?
New Model Y owners. And literally was this fast, right? So there's no excuse. I had my phone in my hand. Now part of me wanted to go grab my mics out of my bag and set up my mics and do this and set up and ... I said, "Nope. Nope. All right. Listen, if I'm gonna say you gotta do it, we're gonna do it." So I'm gonna walk you through exactly what that looked like right now, right?
So I picked up my phone like this. "Hey, what's up, guys? If you own a Tesla Model Y, I've got a little PSA for you. These trail, these tailgates dent all the time. Very common damage for us. There was a body style change in '26, and [00:21:00] it's not always what it looks like. Let me show you." Right? And then I'm doing that, and then I just stop, flip the camera around, and I'm like, "Okay, here's our dent.
We got about a six-inch dent. It's right through the body line. This is aluminum. This is a little tricky. However, let me show you what it did to the inside of the panel." Right? And then I've already got it apart, and I go down and I'm like, "Do you see this little bit of buckling inside? So it's not always as easy as popping the dent out or just dealing with what you see.
We need to fix all of this inside too." And then I flipped it back around and I'm like, "Well, that's all for this, uh, tech tip. If you get damage on your Model Y, blah, blah, blah, call to action at Dent Repair Now. All right, see ya." Right? And hit the phone and I'm done. Now, I'm very fortunate that I have a Liv.
And I can just say, "Liv, make a video," and it sends it off.
Even if you aren't good at editing or good at getting them [00:22:00] done, create the video. Let it sit on your phone. Then when you're not in the middle of chaos and you're like, "Oh, what can I do?" Well, guess what you can do. You can edit all those little clips on your phone into content, and then schedule it out and make it work, and continue to play the long game.
So that is a little bit of my, like, rant on don't get so busy that you can't get things done. Also, I'm a little bit of a maniac when it comes to working too much, so maybe don't take my advice. Or take my advice. I don't care. Actually, I do care. Just trying to leave this place a little better than the condition I found it in.
All right. PDR Marketing Minute, tool of the week. What's next? Let's do Marketing Minute. All right. So going through, we should be on episode nine of, uh, the, um, [00:23:00] Marketing Minute. Episode nine was all about dealing with Yelp reviews. Guess what? Yelp sucks. I'm not even gonna give them time on my show. So let's jump into episode 10 of the PDR Marketing Minute.
And now it's time for the PDR Marketing Minute, your weekly quick tip to help you build your PDR business.
Welcome back to the PDR Marketing Minute, episode 10. This week we're doing a run-and-gun show on the road. Uh, we had a hailstorm come through town. To say the least, we've been really busy. What I wanna touch base on is how you're educating your customers or how you're educating your potential customers before they get to you.
That's a lot of what marketing is all about, is everything that happens before you're on the phone doing sales with them. Our customers... Or there's a [00:24:00] preconceived notion that our customers are worried about price because that's what everything defaults to, because they don't know anything else. What I want you to think about in all your marketing materials, your website, uh, flyers, videos you do, anything like that, take an educational approach.
Ultimately, everything will come back to what it costs, but if you're doing your job right and putting out content that educates your customer, they're going to come to you primed and ready to buy. Uh, I saw a video that Brice Kelly did this week where he took a very educational approach on how to... or on whether dents can be repaired on the edge of panels.
That right there is exactly what I'm talking about. Uh, if you haven't found it, look for, I think it's CFL Dent Repair on YouTube, and check out his edge repair video. So that's what I want you guys thinking about this week, is how can you take a stance and educate your potential customers before they get to you?[00:25:00]
Thanks for listening. We'll catch you next week. And don't forget to head over to pdrmarketingminute.com and sign up for our email. All right, we'll stop it there. Again, not pitching you on my review system that's not available anywhere. And kind of funny that Brice... Wow, that's really loud. I gotta turn this down.
And kind of funny, find it kind of funny that Brice was making us all look like we can't fix dents even 10 years ago. Oh, when I was doing the Marketing Minute, um, we were just doing a bunch of edge stuff down at The Dent Demon, uh, a la Brice Kelly, right? Brice is, Brice is... He's the man. Like, that smash stuff, the, the edge stuff, like, just wild.
However, that is fantastic advice. Uh, taking an educational approach to your customers, I, I don't know, in my opinion, I don't know that there's a better way to sell lots of things, but [00:26:00] especially what we do, right? Like, an educated customer is my best customer. The more I can teach him, the better... teach them, the better off we are I believe it's probably even more important now that you have good educational content on your site.
Uh, note to me, get more educational content on dentrepairnow.com. All right. Sorry, I just needed to talk to myself for a second. Anyways, more educational content on your site and in videos and, and just like that little Tesla Model Y video that we just shot, that we didn't shoot, that I shot earlier It makes you the expert.
It shows that you know what you've got going on, and if you're putting that content on your website and on your YouTube channel, the AIs, you know, your Claudes and Gemini and Grok, uh, and ChatGPT, they're referencing the web, and they are looking for that educational type content. Bros [00:27:00] and sistas, get on that educational content train.
I really, really believe that that is, uh, that's where it's at. A hu- again, just, just like I said 10 years ago on that show, right? Like, so much of marketing is education, and all of that takes place before you're on the call. And proper marketing will lead you to easier sales or even borderline automatic sales.
So get on it. Good episode, me. That was awesome. I love that we brought these back. I love that you guys wanted to bring the Marketing Minutes back. I had a blast doing them. Um, anyways, so cool. So thanks for that. All right, now it is time for me to find this button.
All right. The tool. Tools, tabs. The tools of the... The tool of the week is actually [00:28:00] the tab of the week. So I let Shannon, front desk, pick our tool of the week this week, and it is these super straight tabs from our buddy Keith At Black Plague, also Keith of PDR College. Anyways, the Super Straight Tabs set um I got these when they first came out.
Have I done these as a tool of the week? No, I've talked about these. Well, if it's not, if I've done the tool of the week before with these, guess what? It's the tool of the week again, and it's still an amazing tab. Uh, so the idea is, if I can get it out here one-handed, the idea is... A- and, and when I was, when I teach glue pull, I, you know, tell my students, "Listen, the straighter [00:29:00] you can pull, the stronger you can pull."
And I don't care if that's with a glue tab or a welding pin or a plate, the straighter you pull, the stronger you pull because you're taking shear, shear out of the equation. So traditional lifter is down here, right? I don't have a regular tab in here, but traditional lifter goes down in here, and you've got some play, and you can be crooked.
This is the adapter my students in the other day, and they were cranking on something. Holy cannoli. What did they do to my lifter? Hold on a second, let me adjust the quarter inch of screw. I didn't even know you could screw this in that far. All right. Anyways, the, the super straight... Sorry, technical difficulties.
Um, the idea of the super straight tab is it drops in here, then as you pull, it pulls straight up [00:30:00] the tab. This pyramid... 'Cause a pyramid's four sides, right? Anyways, this pyramid s- sized style shape, uh, comes in and locks in and forces you to pull straight. Like, super straight, really. Oh, also shout out, I don't think Matt listens, but James does, James does.
James, you guys are cracking me up with all your Willey funny jokes about their new sponsor, Willey Quick. Cracking me up. Willey. It was Willey funny. Anyways, so these tabs, uh, you do need the adapter. It comes with a kit, right? And it will thread onto your, um, standard lifter, to your robo lifter. Uh, also these feet, I don't know that these come with a kit, but these are handy.
The little robo legs that allow you to adjust. I, I like them without the super straight tabs. I use that all the time on cars. Anyways, gives you a little bit more [00:31:00] reach. This adapter will allow you to pull regular tabs. Oh, there it goes. That's how it's supposed to go, or super straight tabs. These tabs work Almost like, and I haven't had a good one in a while, almost like a stretched tab.
Uh, uh, for you veterans, right? I've got plenty of veterans that listen here. When you pull and it hooks up and the tab goes woooo, but it doesn't break, that tab, something magical happens. I, I talked to Chris at KECO, we talked to oth- he talked to other engineer friends. Nobody could get a good answer.
Something happens when that tab stretches, and then it just pulls better than any other tab around it, the exact same tab out of the exact same box in the run. Stretch tab pulls different. So these tabs pull almost like a pre-stretched, stretched tab [00:32:00] I don't use these all the time. However, when I get a deep dent that I really need to get down into, you know, like a hard hail hit in a rail or a sharp door ding in a door.
In fact, I had one that was a sharp door ding on a... I want to say it was on a Rover maybe. Super sharp. And I was getting ready to pull and I'm like, "I should make a video for Keith because the Super Straight tab's gonna kick this thing's butt." Right? I glued it up and I'm like, "Wow, I didn't show the before."
I'm like, "All right, well, I'll just pull this one and then I'll show the next one." And I mean, this was a freaking shot. And dude, like hooked it up and I'm like, "All right, we'll just pop this off." Wham. I'm like, "Well, that dent is done in one pull." They pull so, so sharp. Um, two different, uh, materials, or not two different materials, [00:33:00] two different thicknesses.
The green... Let's see if we get that here. The green face is significantly thinner, maybe even a third the thickness of the yellow face. Um, and that yellow's just a little bit thicker. These are not an every day tab, however, it is the tab of the tool of the week tab. But when you need to pull a sharp dent, nothing on the market pulls sharper than that.
Like, that is it. So there you go. That is your tool of the week, the Super Straight tabs from our buddy Keith @BlackPlaguePDR, @BlackPlaguePle- blackplaguepdr.com. If you can't spell plague, deadrattabs, plural, .com. I've listened to a lot of, uh, PDR College episodes. In fact, I don't know that I've ever missed one.
All right, back to your regularly scheduled me [00:34:00] show. All right, that's it. Go check out my new show, pdrlifepodcast.com. That will get you there. It's on YouTube. Uh, it should be live on, uh, Amazon Podcasts and Apple Podcasts if you want the just audio. All of the shows are on YouTube We're trying to get on Spotify, but we had to wait 24 hours.
Should be technically on Spotify, but I've not seen an email that Spotify was like, "You're in." But I don't use Spotify anyways. I just did that for you, the listener or two from Spotify. Uh, MTE's coming up. Uh, I'm gonna talk about some glue pull, but that's in like three months, so we're not gonna talk about that.
Uh, Anson has a toy drive and open house coming up on October 24th. I will not be flying down because I'm quite frankly kind of flown out. Uh, it's been a travel heavy year, and really the last two months, super travel heavy. Like, [00:35:00] I like to travel. This is enough. I've reached my limit. This far, this much.
That's, that's how much I should do. Oh, and at the Chinese restaurant the other day, my, uh, fortune was like, "I'll take a vacation. You will find great fortune."
Soon, my friend. Soon. Anyways, guys, thanks so much for listening. Thanks for your patience. Thanks for all the feedback, uh, and everything like that. I appreciate you, and I'm pretty sure the next show will be on time for Monday. Ooh, ooh, before I go, episode 100 is coming up. We never stream these live. We are going to be scheduling a live podcast, probably a weekday evening seems to be, like, the popular time to do it.
I'll make sure I don't step on anybody else's toes that may be doing it, but we are gonna go live, and I would love to, on that show, have some listeners pop in and talk a- about [00:36:00] what's going on in their world and all that good stuff, um, as sort of a way to celebrate. And then, of course, we'll publish it like a regular show.
But for the 100th episode, we will be doing a live stream podcast, and I'm pretty excited. If you would like to be a part of that, just send me a DM, shoot me a text, an email, or anything like that, and I would love to talk to you and have you on the show. Anyways, all right, guys, thanks so much for listening.
I will catch you on the next episode.
